ACTa, Clia, and IATA
IATA Card
The IATA ID card is recognized worldwide as ID for travel professionals. With this card, you also have access to education and travel rewards programs from industry suppliers, as well as travel discounts.
To be eligible for an IATA card:
- remunerated position at travel agency
- aged 18+
- working at least 20 hours per week
- have earned at least $5,000 (commission) in the past 24 months
CLIA Card
The CLIA ID card is also recognized as ID for travel professionals and gives you access to member benefits, training, and bonus commissions.
To be eligible for a CLIA card:
- remunerated position at travel agency
- working at least 20 hours per week
- have earned at least $5,000 (commission) in the past 12 months

After achieving the Certified Travel Counsellor exam with ACTA, you will receive your ACTA card.
