invoicing
Invoices are the backbone of our business.

When you purchase something, you receive a receipt.
The same has to happen in the travel industry. Your client needs to know where their money was spent, on what, how much, by which agent, where they are going, etc. The invoice provides all of this proof. You need to create an invoice within 24 hours of booking, but it's best to get into the habit of creating it immediately and sending it to your client.
Equally important, if you want to be paid your commission, you need to create an invoice.
.
When we receive commission from a supplier, behind the scenes we pull from the information on your invoices. If the invoice is missing, you cannot be paid.
Invoices done properly and promptly keep Michelle S happy.
Please read through the guide below and use them each time you invoice to get used to the process.
Do not send supplier invoices to your clients.
You must send them the TravelWorks invoice you create.
If you don’t understand something, Michelle S loves to talk accounting (and you can reach her at 403-783-0548).
