Welcome to the go travel family
Welcome to the Go Travel family! We are a small but mighty group that shares a huge passion for travel! I grew up on a farm near Carstairs, Alberta, where I currently live and raise my family. My parents were farmers/ranchers turned small business owners, which gives me appreciation and knowledge of running a business. Before owning Go Travel, I was a Human Resources and Payroll Manager - and I have NO regrets hanging up those shoes for the world of travel.

Welcome to Go Travel - we are happy to have you as part of our team. I am from Central Alberta and live on a farm with my husband and family. Prior to being an agency owner, my work history involved mostly accounting or office related work. My mother-in-law actually saw an ad for a home-based agent and thought it would be a great fit. She was not wrong! And here we are many years later...

Before you share your exciting news about becoming a travel agent, take the time to read through all of the documentation here. You may need to read it a few times. This is an industry where paying attention to the details matters.
No matter how much you've traveled personally or how much personal travel you've planned and booked, agent systems are not the same and you cannot become an expert overnight. In this industry, learning and keeping up with changes is forever.
Work through the material at whatever pace is comfortable for you. Ask questions in the Facebook group if you can't find the answer here.
Don't forget, every agent started where you are starting now. It takes some time, but if you put in the work, you'll get there.
